We got a late start, with me staying asleep until 12:30 this morning. Then we laid in bed a bit and spent some time with our kitties, even Vree joining in on the petting-fest. Then a quick trip to 7-11 for a Slurpee treat and a newspaper to check out all the deals tomorrow.

When we got home, it was time to start cooking! Shawn started on the turkey and stuffing, then moved the table and took the recycling. I cleaned things up a bit and started in on my list of things to cook - pumpkin pie, chocolate cream pie (I forgot to cook the shell before putting in the cream cheese and chocolate mixtures - erp! So it's a bit of a mess.), baked mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes.

Now we're watching the TiVo'd parade, Shawn bitching all the way through, as always.

It's a perfect day. I'm so thankful to have the love of my life to spend it with.
