I hit my first NaNo block today. Maybe it's that Shawn was home and I was easily distracted. I fell asleep with a million ideas in my head, including something I wanted to go back and flesh out, but of course lost them all before I woke up.

I made it through, though, with enough words that if I don't get anything done tomorrow with the ultrasound, I'm still good.

And I'm in a really good mood today. For no reason. People are doing things that normally drive me crazy (Shawn is procrastinating the hell out of chores, I've been witness to some homophobic discussion, etc.). It'll probably crash and burn later but it's cool to feel a little fuzzy for a while.

I think my doing NaNo has given Shawn the writing bug. We're going to start trying to write something together. I'm excited.
