Still not found the time to make one.

I'm learning.

I'll be ripping out the baby blanket again. Second time, now, and this time I'm about halfway done. I just don't like it, the basketweave with the multicolored yarn doesn't work well. I'll probably go back to using that yarn for the scarf/hat thing when I get my size 4 needles, and when I get my double pointed needles, make some booties to go with it.

The homespun yarn I bought, once knitted, looks like commercial carpeting. Yuck. I'm trying to do a simple laptop bag with it (no pattern), but it may be relegated to a welcome mat. We'll see, I like that it's thick, that'll make it protective of the laptop, but it's still ugly. Maybe once I get to the stockinette bit it won't be so bad.
