I've been a big fan of IKEA for a while. I probably still have a few catalogs somewhere that I've drooled over and marked pages (Shawn, Shawn, isn't that room so cool??) and in general lusted at. It's cheap, (more or less) eco-friendly furniture. What's not to love? Well, there's the putting it together part, but I actually like that, especially when Shawn and I do it together -- it's a really good couple's project.

Anyway, today's Ideal Bite mentioned them and I went to look to see if they still didn't have catalogs anymore, and saw this: two Florida locations in the Coming Soon column! Okay, so they're in Sunrise and Orlando, but Orlando isn't that far. Just a hop up I-4.

I get the feeling opening is a ways off, but so is our need to buy furniture. That doesn't mean I'm not hoping around the apartment in excitement and looking forward to just going to drool in person.
