Christmas came and went. We drove across the state for dinner at Sue's on Monday, then drove back on Tuesday. It was really nice. Usually our Christmases are spent alone, which is fine by us, antisocial as we are, but it was neat hanging out with family for a change. I hope everyone liked their pressies.

(Everyone said they did, but, really, they could've just been being polite.)

I need to get to work on learning to knit socks for next year. I don't want to get stuck making everything in December again.

On the way there and back we listened to Artemis Fowl, which I thought was okay, but Shawn seemed to like.

All in all it was good. Once we got past the Tampa storms the drive was nice, the table was gorgeous, dinner was yummy (yay leftovers!), and the company was comforting and enjoyable.
