Ever since I began hosting the infp list I've felt a bit uncomfortable with the blog being the main page for ambertides.org. The fact that members call it, and label it in their address books, "ambertides" or "the ambertides list" and then having ambertides.org lead directly here seemed misleading. This blog and The List have nothing to do with each other besides sharing server space. So the idea of a splash page has been bouncing in the back of my head for a while, but I hadn't been in the brainspace to mess with anything web-related. Today I was, and voilà, splash page.

Kindly redirect blog links and RSS feeds.

I've also removed the music and health blogs (from the links here, anyway). We're still on hold with infertility treatments and we're focusing on home ownership right now, and juggling the two isn't something we're looking to do. So it's on hold for the foreseeable future, leaving nothing to blog about. Any music blogging I care to do, I've been doing on last.fm, so the music blog seemed superfluous. Our online music archive can still be found at the same spot if you've got the user name and password (if you don't, and want access let me know and I'll assign you one).

Lastly, I'm vacillating between starting a knitting blog and just spamming this one with knitting gab. It might be until I get my ravelry invite that I come to a decision. I'm not sure how much of what I want to share will be covered by that (18,250 ahead of me - sob!).

I have several posts on the brain, and a lot of things going on lately. Hopefully something share-worthy will surface shortly.
